Today's task is from the August 11th entry. I have to DIG INTO MY BLOG'S STATISTICS.
Honestly, there's nothing I'd like more. Last summer, when we were doing our World Cup blog, we set up our stats with the noble and excellent StatCounter. As well as showing the numbers of visitors and page views, it also gave us details of where people had found us from, whether they'd clicked on a link or Googled for us, and whereabouts in the world they all were. It meant I was able to give my loyal readers in the Philippines a shout out, in the knowledge that there were at least four of them.
Unfortunately, to use the StatCounter site you have to be able to drop some code into your page design, and I can't do that here. Watch out for my new project, which is coming soon, in which I will be able to parse data to my heart's content.
I do have some stats in here, and this is how they look.

As you can see, I've improved month by month. The daily chart hit a temporary high on September 4th, when I was mentioned on the Pharyngula website over this post. Numbers have fallen away since, but I seem to be stabilising on 80 to 90 of you a day.
I promised you a schedule, and apart from the Andrew Keen piece being a day late I've kept to it. Tomorrow, a web roundup.
